Our Vision
Chillicothe Mission is committed to offering compassionate care to every person because they are made in the image of God and therefore have innate value. The Chillicothe Mission will focus on three key areas to provide compassionate care.
Spiritual, Physical and Emotional Care
Spiritual Care: Every individual who comes to Chillicothe Mission for any reason will hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ as a part of the services provided. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is defined as the truth that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures, that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures. (1Corinthians 12:3-4) Every individual will hear about the hope Christ offers of a new beginning and opportunity for restoration regardless of their past. The Chillicothe Mission shall be a place of spiritual healing and compassion based upon the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Physical Care: The Chillicothe Mission will provide clean and well-cared for facilities in support of the poor and homeless. This will include food, overnight lodging, and laundry services.

Emotional Care: The Chillicothe Mission shall offer case management to every individual who is an overnight guest. Case management services will partner with third party providers who can support clients through psychiatric/mental health evaluation/care. Case management will walk alongside clients with the intent of helping them create a plan for reintegration into society as a fully functional, spiritually healthy individual.
